Used low dose deca (150mg/week) purely for the therapeutic joint benefits alongside TRT. Absolutely transformative for my training. Deca at 400mg/week with 500 test for 16 weeks. This is the classic bulk stack for a reason. Joints felt absolutely amazing by week 4 - my chronic shoulder pain basically disappeared. Deca dick is real and it ruined my cycle. 400mg/week with 500 test which should be enough test to prevent issues according to everyone online. Wrong. By week 8 I could barely maintain an erection. Tried adding proviron, tried increasing test, nothing worked until I dropped the deca entirely. Took about 6 weeks after dropping it for things to return to normal because of the long ester. Great gains but the sexual dysfunction made it not worth it for me.
16 week bulk with deca 500 test 750. gained 22lbs which was probably too much too fast. a lot of water and some fat mixed in with the muscle. the strength gains were impressive though and i did fill out considerably. main complaint besides the bloat was that recovery after the cycle was brutal. nandrolone metabolites stick around for months and i felt suppressed for a long time even with aggressive pct. plan for a long recovery if you run this
