Editorial Policy

The rules we follow so that rankings reflect real user experience and not who paid whom.

How a source gets listed

Any shop, manufacturer, or compound with an active user base can be listed. The editorial team adds new entries based on requests from the community or recurring mentions in reviews. Listing is free and does not require consent from the source — this is a review site, not a directory opt-in program.

Every new source starts with the same Bayesian prior rating described on the methodology page. There is no paid-placement tier.

Verification

A source gets a Verifiedbadge when someone proves they operate it — usually via a signed message from the shop's canonical domain or a control check against a known operator contact. Verification unlocks three things: the badge, the ability to reply publicly to reviews, and the ability to correct profile metadata (region, manufacturer linkage, contact email).

Verification does not let the operator delete reviews, adjust the rating, block critical reviewers, or hide low sub-scores. The badge is a transparency signal, not a marketing perk.

Conflict of interest

  • No staff member owns, operates, or receives payment from any listed source.
  • No affiliate links. Outbound "Visit" buttons are unpaid and tagged nofollow sponsored ugc.
  • No advertising from sources on site pages.
  • If any of the above ever changes, it will be disclosed on this page before the change goes live.

Review removal

We remove reviews for three reasons only:

  • Doxxing — posting real names, addresses, or identifying info.
  • Off-topic or spam — promotional content, unrelated rants, duplicate posts.
  • Clearly fake — sock-puppet accounts, coordinated review bombs, paid astroturfing.

A bad rating on its own is never grounds for removal. Source operators who request removal of legitimate negative reviews are told no, and the request itself is logged on their profile at our discretion.

Corrections

If a source's profile has wrong metadata (region, manufacturer, domain), email [email protected] with the slug and the correction. Fixes go live within a few days and take effect at the next nightly recalc.
